Little Waltham Church of England VA Primary School is seeking a compassionate, dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our team on a permanent basis, working within our Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

About the Role
We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic LSA to work as part of our EYFS team, supporting children's learning, development and wellbeing in a nurturing and stimulating environment.
Experience of working within an EYFS setting is highly desirable, together with an understanding of the Early Years curriculum and the ways in which young children learn and develop.
The successful candidate will be someone who enjoys working with children at the beginning of their school journey and who can support their learning through play, exploration and positive relationships.
Position Details
Hours: Monday to Friday, term-time only, 8.35am - 3.15pm Starting Salary: Β£25,989 FTE, actual salary Β£17,287 (pro rata) Contract: Permanent
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have experience of working with children in an Early Years Foundation Stage setting
- Be dedicated to supporting high standards of learning, development and care
- Have a good understanding of children's development and the EYFS approach to learning through play and exploration
- Demonstrate flexibility, initiative and a commitment to meeting the individual needs of each child
- Engage children in creative, purposeful and inspiring learning experiences
- Build warm, positive and supportive relationships with children
- Work effectively as part of a team, collaborating closely with teachers, support staff, parents and the wider school community
- Communicate effectively with children, colleagues and parents
- Support positive behaviour and contribute to a calm, encouraging and inclusive classroom environment
- Be confident using IT and other educational tools to support learning and classroom activities
- Embrace our Christian values and bring enthusiasm, warmth and a good sense of humour to the role
