Moulsham High School is a high performing comprehensive school where ‘behaviour is calm, and the atmosphere is productive and positive, making it a nice place to be (Ofsted 2020). Known internally as a Cover Supervisor, we are looking for a Classroom Supervisor with experience of working with secondary aged children in an educational setting to supervise classes during the short‑term absence of teachers; give instructions for the lesson as provided by the teacher and maintain good order (keeping students on task so that their learning continues).
The successful candidate will have an ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt quickly and effectively to changing circumstances. Visits to the school prior to application are most welcome. This post is subject to an enhanced DBS check and is not suitable for anyone who has been barred in any way from working with children. Work Schedule:
- 35 Hours per week, Monday to Friday 08:00 - 15:30
- 39 weeks a year - Term Time plus inset days
- Permanent
