About the role
Assist the Premises Manager in maintaining a safe, secure and welcoming school environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the management of premises and cleaning teams.
- Maintain high standards of health & safety and site security.
- Carry out hands‑on repairs and maintenance tasks (plumbing, painting, minor building works).
- Serve as a keyholder, including opening/closing and responding to alarms.
- Supervise contractors and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Prepare the site for events, lettings and community use.
- Assist with staff supervision, training and work planning.
- Monitor and maintain equipment, supplies and building systems.
