Myland Primary School is looking to employ a Catering Assistant to work 10 hours a week (term time only), as follows: Mon β Fri 12:00 β 2:00 p.m. Our school has a busy kitchen and the post holder will be required to work as part of a committed team preparing fresh, home cooked food for our pupils and staff.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation and serving of school meals.
- Undertake all aspects of cleaning equipment, floors, fixtures and fittings, cooking utensils, cutlery, glassware, etc. as directed.
- Maintain a high standard of personal and general cleanliness and hygiene to comply with statutory school regulations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience of catering desirable; training available for the right candidate.
- Required to take and pass a Hygiene and Food Handling course, unless possessing a current up-to-date qualification.
- Satisfactory references, enhanced DBS clearance and medical clearance required.
