Needs to have a good understanding of Policies & procedures, statutory requirements, SEND.
The applicant must have some experience of running a room, with good staff skills, how to plan an exciting play curriculum for children between 36 months and primary school.
A high standard of English to complete learning journals, reports where needed and communication with parents on open days.
The pay will be negotiated at the end of a 12 working week probation period with 4 weekly assessment meetings which will include DBS and reference checks.
Additional training is available where up to date knowledge is needed e.g. safeguarding, paediatric first aid.
Information about the School:
We are a charity preschool set in Burnham on Crouch Village Hall, which means we are a set up and set down style preschool. We operate 30 hr funding for children over 38 weeks per year, our register is for 52 children over 1 year, however our setting is more suitable for 18 months upwards. With our Reception Hall age range is 18 months to 36 months with the room taking 12 children per day and our Foundation Hall is for 36 months to primary school with the room taking up to 26 children per day.
All appointments are subject to safer recruitment requirements to ensure the safeguarding of children and young people. All positions will involve appropriate checks and clearances.
