Little Acorns Day Nursery is situated within the school grounds of Woodlands School. We are looking for level 2 or Level 3 qualified Nursery Practitioners to work as part of a team to provide an outstanding service in our beautifully resourced nursery setting.

Job Purpose:

Qualifications and Experience:

  • NEB, CACHE level 3, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
  • 1 year experience preferred; newly qualified are also welcome to apply.
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of the EYFS.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Exceptional communication skills, energy and a positive "can do" attitude.
  • Passion for delivering outstanding childcare and learning.

Person Specification:

  • Experience working with children (e.g., school, nursery, childcare, or voluntary work).
  • Friendly, approachable, and patient manner.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to manage groups of children in a calm and positive way.
  • Understanding of safeguarding and child protection (or willingness to learn).
  • Experience in planning activities for children.
  • Knowledge of food hygiene practices.
