Higher Level Teaching Assistant
- Pay: Thurrock Band 4 - Point Range 12‑20 (Salary Range: Full Time equivalent: £21,593 to £25,963)
- Permanent Position – 35 hours per week, term time only (paid 44.8 weeks per year including holiday pay)
- Hours: 08:30am to 04:30pm

Responsibilities
- Support the class teacher in planning differentiated work for pupils
- Provide feedback to the class teacher on pupil progress
- Attend INSET days and training as identified by the Headteacher
- Work in partnership with all members of staff and lead classes following teacher guidance
- Use own initiative to develop children\'s learning
- Put children at the centre of all that you do
- Create a stimulating and purposeful learning environment
- Be fully supportive of the Catholic ethos of the school
- Be enthusiastic and committed to becoming part of a team or working on own initiative
Qualifications / Experience
- Good standard of Maths and English GCSE grades A‑C or equivalent or higher
- Good spoken and written English
- Previous experience of working with children in an educational setting
- Patient and positive approach towards supporting pupils
