About the Role
As a Cover Teacher you will be part of a small, dedicated team that supervises students in cover lessons when their teacher is absent. Hours can be extended through negotiation, but we expect an 8:00 am start and a 3:30 pm finish as a minimum. All thirteen weeks of school holidays are offered, along with the opportunity to attend our seven INSET days. Cover teachers may cover a range of subjects, student numbers and abilities. You can focus on subjects that match your strengths and may also get involved in the wider life of the school (e.g., music groups, sports, school plays).

- Deliver set cover lessons to classes of around 25 students.
- Help support a positive, safe learning environment.
- Use IT to support the delivery of lessons.
- Build good relationships with students through regular daily interaction.
- Optionally support extra-curricular clubs and extend your role within the school community.
Why Join Us?

- Supportive school with welcoming staff and strong Christian values.
- Ongoing professional development and guidance from an experienced education trust.
What We Are Looking For
- Recent graduates interested in entering the education sector.
- Individuals seeking a career change.
- Aspiring teachers who want hands-on classroom experience.
- Experienced cover teachers.
- Qualified teachers seeking fewer responsibilities and better work/life balance.
