Canonium Learning Trust is seeking an enthusiastic, organised and reliable Wraparound Care Play Leader to lead our before and after school provision.
This is a flexible, casual role providing wraparound care across schools in Chelmsford, Maldon, Braintree, Colchester and Tendring.
The role involves overseeing day‑to‑day operations, ensuring high standards of care, safeguarding and enrichment, and planning engaging activities for children.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the day‑to‑day running of the provision, ensuring high standards of care, safeguarding and enrichment.
- Plan and deliver a varied programme of activities and build positive relationships with children, families and school staff.
- Support before and after-school provision at one or more schools in Essex, as required.
Qualifications
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Confidence to work independently and take initiative.
- A warm, caring and positive approach.
- Good understanding of safeguarding responsibilities and child protection procedures.
- Ability to plan engaging activities that support children's interests, wellbeing and development.
- Willingness to travel to schools across Essex.
