We currently have a vacancy in our happy mid-day team of 7 MDAs supported by a Senior MDA who wants the very best for her staff team and understands their role. Our school is a small Catholic Primary school in the centre of Braintree town. The children are well-behaved and enjoy their lunchtimes to play and eat their lunch together. They are polite and have good manners and soon build great relationships with the mid-day staff who are keen to help and guide them.
The hours are 11.55 - 1.25 pm Monday to Friday.
Duties will include:
- assisting children choosing and eating their meal
- supervising children in playground and field
- guiding play and assisting with games and activities
- assisting with clearing tables and cleaning the dining hall
A uniform tabard and training will be provided.
The appointment will be subject to a successful enhanced DBS and completion of a disqualification by association form, medical check and two references and other relevant background checks.
