We have an exciting opportunity for an unqualified nursery support assistant to join our wonderful nursery. Working with children aged between 3 months and 4 years as part of the nursery team and under the direction of the Room Lead and Nursery Manager, you will provide safe, high-quality education and provision for the young children in your care.
Duties will include:
- Acting as a keyworker for a small group of children
- Providing exceptional care
- Liaising closely with parents/carers and ensuring each child's needs are recognised and met
- Teaching children, offering an appropriate level of support and stimulation
- Helping to set up and tidy away at the end of the session
- Attending meetings and training courses as appropriate
- Undertaking any other reasonable duties as directed by the Room Lead
The successful candidate will:
- Have a passion for working with babies and children
- Be reliable, caring, dedicated and enthusiastic
- Be a team player who can engage with children and school staff in a professional and enthusiastic manner
- Be smartly presented, with excellent time management skills
- Have GCSE's (or equivalent) in English and Maths (A*-C/9-4)
