Due to an internal promotion within our school office, we are looking for someone to join our office team, three days a week (Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday) for 22.5 hours per week from 8 am to 4 pm, 39 weeks per year (term time + INSET days).

We are seeking an enthusiastic, reliable, flexible, and well-organized Administrative Assistant to join our busy school office. This role involves various administrative duties, including managing school database systems, registers, dinner monies, and pupil welfare.

The successful candidate will have:

  • A warm, confident, and welcoming personality as the initial point of contact for parents, pupils, and visitors
  • The ability to deal sympathetically with parents and pupils
  • The ability to work under pressure in an environment with constant interruptions
  • Excellent computer skills including Word and Excel; experience with the internet, email, and other software packages (Sims would be an advantage)
  • Good organization skills with a high level of accuracy and efficiency
  • The ability to work as part of a team
  • Previous experience of working in a school office is desirable.
