Join Our Team at Bocking Primary School!

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personalised 1-to-1 support to pupils with complex SEND to enable them to access the curriculum.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff and the SEND coordinator to implement EHCPs.
  • Monitor and report on pupil progress, adapting support strategies as needed.
  • Foster an inclusive, safe, and supportive learning environment.
  • Assist with the development of pupils' social, emotional, and behavioural skills.
Required Qualifications and Experience
  • Proven experience working with children with learning needs and SEND.
  • Understanding of strategies to support pupils with a range of SEND.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Desirable Qualities
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to remain flexible and responsive to changing pupil needs.

Working Pattern & Remuneration
  • 17.50 Hours per Week
  • Working Monday to Friday 9:30-13:00
  • 38 Weeks per Year
