About Us

Shoredons & Co Legal is a modern, fully remote law firm, offering a range of corporate, commercial, data protection, employment, and commercial property law services.

Role Description

We regularly advise on small business sales and acquisitions (such as the sale of pubs, cafes, hairdressers, and shops etc) where the main aspect of the transaction is dealing with commercial property. We’re looking for a commercial property solicitor to join us as a consultant, to pick up this regular flow of work. Typical work will include:

  • Small asset sales and asset purchases.
  • Commercial leases.
  • Rent deposit deeds.
  • Lease assignments.
  • Lease surrenders.

Requirements

The successful candidate must:

  • Have experience with advising on small asset sales and asset purchases (including dealing with legal due diligence, asset purchase agreements, disclosure letters and any ancillary documents).
  • Have experience with advising small clients.
  • Be flexible with fees when advising on smaller transactions.
  • Be an English qualified solicitor, based in the UK.
  • Be friendly, responsive, proactive and approachable.
  • Have high standards and great attention to detail.
  • Not have been subject to any client claims or complaints in relation to their work.
  • Be able to work independently and remotely.
  • A solicitor with a following would be preferred, but is not essential.

Remuneration

The successful candidate will be paid:

  • 50% of all fees paid by clients of the firm, for services delivered by the consultant.
  • 75% of all fees paid by clients brought in by the consultant, for services delivered by the consultant;
  • A referral fee of 10% of all fees paid by clients brought in by the consultant, for services delivered by other solicitors of the firm.
