Shoreditch Treehouse is a characterful, plant filled venue designed for creative meetings, workshops, and events. We’re known for our relaxed professionalism, thoughtful design, and genuinely warm client experience - and we’re now looking for a Venue & Bookings Coordinator to join our small, friendly team. This role is perfect for someone who loves building relationships, keeping things organised, and being at the heart of a growing business.

The Role

As the Venue & Bookings Coordinator, you’ll be the first point of contact for our clients and a key support to the smooth running of the venue. You’ll balance bookings administration, relationship‑building, business development, and hands‑on venue support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Acting as the first point of contact for new and existing clients
  • Managing the inbox and answering phone enquiries
  • Hosting venue viewings and showcasing Shoreditch Treehouse
  • Issuing contracts and invoices to confirm bookings
  • Managing the bookings calendar and tracking key dates
  • Accurately recording and reporting data to support performance
  • Proactively identifying trends and recommending strategic or operational changes
  • Tracking contracts and payments
  • Collecting and logging client feedback

Relationship Building

  • Maintaining relationships with key clients
  • Keeping in touch post‑booking and following up after events
  • Building awareness of Shoreditch Treehouse within our community and our key client base
  • LinkedIn outreach and lead follow‑ups
  • Supporting repeat business and long‑term partnerships

Venue & Operational Support

  • Preparing the space ahead of client arrivals
  • Welcoming clients and inducting them into the venue
  • Supporting clients with tech setup and connectivity
  • Running through health & safety information
  • Resetting the space and locking up after events
  • Helping to keep our (many!) lovely plants thriving

About You

You’re organised, proactive, and enjoy being part of a smaller team where your contribution really matters. You’re confident communicating with clients and take pride in delivering a great experience. You’ll ideally bring:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organisation and attention to detail
  • Confidence using Email and familiarity with Excel or Google Sheets
  • Able to learn new platforms, including contracting and invoicing systems
  • A strategic way of thinking and problem solving
  • A good eye for design, detail, and presentation
  • Enjoys working in a collaborative, close‑knit team

Important to Note:

  • Shoreditch Treehouse is located on the third floor of a characterful building with no step‑free access
  • We are a dog‑friendly venue
  • 37.5 hours per week
  • Typical hours: 9:30am–6:00pm, Monday‑Friday
  • Some flexibility required to cover annual leave, sickness, or busy periods. Shifts may occasionally vary between 7:00am-3:30pm to 2:30pm-11:00pm, and very occasionally Saturdays
  • Paid taxi home when working until 11:00pm
  • ÂŁ34,000 annual salary + a quarterly performance based bonus
  • ÂŁ250 annual workwear allowance
  • Opportunities for paid overtime

Recruitment Process

  • Second stage: In‑person interview (week commencing 23 February)
