Shoreditch Design is a small, fast-paced creative agency working across UI, UX, branding, video and digital experiences. Shoreditch Design is seeking a talented Midweight UX/UI Designer to join our team at our wonderful London HQ.

Tasks and responsibilities

  • Work across a range of digital design experiences - while mostly focused on UX/UI or product-focused briefs, you'll also get stuck into branding, graphic design, pitch decks, animation storyboards and more.
  • Contribute to complex, fixed-term jobs - supporting client and project management to ensure timely delivery to our silver-service standard. We don't have a dedicated account/PM team, so being highly organised with strong verbal communication is essential.
  • Collaborate with designers to create exceptional digital products and websites that exceed client expectations, demonstrating best practices, creativity, and commercial impact.
  • Help build and maintain design systems and guidelines that ensure consistency and quality across all our work.
  • Work with stakeholders to understand business needs, user requirements and technical constraints - and translate them into elegant, intuitive, effective designs.
  • Support design sprints, workshops and presentations that engage clients and explain our process and problem-solving approach.
  • Share knowledge with junior designers, offering feedback and support to help them grow.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve productivity and processes across the wider team.

Essential skills and experience

  • At least 2-3 years of experience as a UX/UI or Product Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design thinking and process.
  • Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite. Bonus points for After Effects, Webflow, Framer or similar.
  • Solid understanding of design systems, interaction design, user-centred design and product principles.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills - you can clearly articulate your thinking and rationale to both clients and stakeholders.
  • Experience working on projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
