We\’re looking for a Front-end Developer who enjoys collaborating closely with designers, cares about systems and quality, and wants to help build ambitious, well-crafted digital experiences.
What you\’ll be doing
Front-end Development & Delivery
- Collaborating closely with designers to turn Figma files into production-ready websites and digital experiences
- Owning builds from design handover through to launch
- Translating design systems into scalable, maintainable front-end architecture
- Estimating timelines, flagging risks early and keeping delivery on track
Craft, Systems & Quality
- Building scalable information architecture and component systems
- Caring deeply about accessibility, best practices, performance and SEO
- Creating future-proof builds that work for content editors and businesses long-term
- Measuring and improving performance using tools like PageSpeed
Motion, Interaction & Storytelling
- Bringing ideas to life through thoughtful interaction and animation
- Proposing creative technical approaches that elevate the work
- Leading motion design for websites using tools like GSAP, Framer Motion or native CSS
- Integrating animation and graphics libraries such as WebGL, Lottie and Rive where appropriate
Collaboration & Communication
- Working cross-functionally with designers, ops and project teams
- Clearly communicating progress, blockers and technical decisions
- Challenging ideas constructively and helping push work to be better
- Being kind, opinionated and solutions-focused
Essential skills & experience
Experience
- 2+ years building production websites, ideally in an agency or studio environment
- Experience working with cross-functional teams
- Strong experience translating Figma design systems into code
Technical skills
- Daily use of Git with a strong understanding of version control
- Fluent in modern JavaScript with React and
- Comfortable working with GraphQL and REST APIs
- Strong experience with TailwindCSS, design tokens and component libraries
- Hands-on experience with headless CMSs such as Sanity, Prismic, or WordPress used headlessly
- Experience with content modelling, editor UX, SEO and asset optimisation
- Strong understanding of accessibility and performance best practices
- Comfortable using AI tools such as Claude Code and Cursor to accelerate workflows responsibly
Nice to have
- Experience using WordPress as a headless CMS
- Creative technology experience with WebGL, , React Three Fiber or similar
- Experience with MCP, Designer APIs, CMS APIs and workflow automation
- DevOps experience including GitHub Actions, serverless setups and cron jobs

Our standard hiring process
We want to make sure that you like us as much as we like you;
- First interview: 20-minute call with the Studio founder/CEO to discuss why you think you\’d be suitable for the role, your experience & qualifications.
- Second interview: a 1-hour interview with 3 members of the team (spanning a range of roles).
- Interview task: If the match looks good, we\’ll invite you for a paid interview task to show us what you can do.
- Final interview: Presentation of interview task and meeting the wider team.
