The role:
We are hiring a Contracts Manager for an established contractor delivering large-scale commercial projects across South Wales and the wider region. This role suits someone who enjoys running multiple live sites, building strong relationships with stakeholders, and keeping projects on track from start to finish. You’ll be working closely with main contractors on structured commercial sites, so experience in that environment is important.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Managing multiple live commercial contracts from handover through to completion
- Acting as the key contact for clients, site teams, and main contractors
- Coordinating labour, subcontractors, materials, programmes and site logistics
- Maintaining high standards around H&S, quality, reporting, and project documentation
- Tracking progress and budgets, supporting valuations, variations and commercial outcomes
- Resolving site issues quickly and keeping delivery moving
What we’re looking for:
- Experience as a Contracts Manager is preferred, but Project Managers will be considered
- Background ideally from a Roofing, Cladding, Building Envelope, or General Construction Contractor
- Strong track record delivering large commercial contracts
- Proven experience dealing directly with main contractors
- Practical, organised and confident managing multiple sites and priorities
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
