About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Operations Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Sales department to drive strategic business planning and growth initiatives. You will be instrumental in designing and optimizing sales processes, leveraging sales productivity tools, and enhancing the overall efficiency of the sales team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and IT teams to resolve sales and customer-related issues, while contributing to the scalability and success of our business.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Operations
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge repository for the sales team to ensure easy access to critical information.
- Design and implement effective training programs to enhance the productivity and performance of the sales team.
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to optimize lead management processes, metrics, and policies.
- Ensure data integrity within customer records in Salesforce and other relevant systems.
- Provide first-tier support for end-user technical or process-related queries in Salesforce and other sales operations tools.
- Partner with the sales team to identify opportunities for process automation and optimization, with a focus on scalability and driving growth.
Sales Support
- Assist customers with Government grant applications and claims support.
- Collaborate with sales and support functions to ensure Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are consistently met.
- Review non-standard deal terms to ensure compliance with published sales and approval policies, and act as an escalation point for approvals.
Sales Reporting
- Develop and implement reporting dashboards to improve the efficiency, effectiveness, and productivity of the sales organization.
- Monitor and analyze key sales and business performance indicators to drive strategic and tactical decision-making.
- Coordinate and ensure the accuracy of sales forecasts.
- Support ad hoc reporting and analysis requests to provide data-driven insights for business decisions.
- Create and evaluate metrics to assess sales rep efficiency and productivity.
Requirements
- 2-5 years of experience in a sales operations or similar role, preferably within a SaaS environment.
- Proven experience supporting sales organizations in areas such as budgeting, incentive design, performance reporting, revenue metrics, and pipeline management.
- Strong working knowledge of frontline technologies, particularly Salesforce.
- Excellent collaboration and analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- A startup mindset with a strong problem-solving orientation and a proactive approach to challenges.
- Proficiency in Mandarin is a plus.
