About ShopHomeStyles
ShopHomeStyles is an AI-powered furniture and homeware discovery platform, bringing together 100+ design-led brands into one curated, editorial experience. Our mission is simple: to make finding beautiful interiors effortless — combining technology, curation, and a sharp editorial eye. Think: the intersection of design platforms like Architectural Digest and intelligent product discovery.
About the role
This is a taste-first role. We are not looking for someone to “help with content.” We are looking for someone who already has a trained eye, strong visual opinions, and a genuine, daily interest in interiors.
What you’ll be doing:
- Curating highly cohesive product edits across furniture and homeware
- Sourcing and selecting design-led interior imagery
- Building shoppable edits and product lists
- Writing captions for Instagram and Pinterest
- Uploading and scheduling Pins, posts, and Stories
- Supporting trend-led content (materials, colours, silhouettes)
- Communicating with brands and PR agencies for imagery and product details
- Assisting with content uploads across the platform
What we’re looking for (non-negotiable):
- Strong visual judgement — you can immediately distinguish elevated vs generic
- Existing understanding of interior design brands, aesthetics, and trends
- Natural, ongoing interest in interiors (not something you are “getting into”)
- Ability to curate clean, cohesive edits with restraint and consistency
- High sensitivity to materials, colour palettes, and composition
- Extreme attention to detail across imagery, captions, and presentation
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-standard environment
You will NOT be a fit if:
- Your selections feel random or trend-led without cohesion
- You rely on “what’s popular” instead of what’s good
- You don’t already recognise brands like Soho Home, Ferm Living, Jonathan Adler etc.
- You see this primarily as a marketing or social media role
You’ll stand out if:
- You actively follow platforms like Dezeen and Architectural Digest
- You have strong design references (spaces, designers, studios — not just products)
- You already curate interiors privately (Pinterest, moodboards, saved edits)
- You already have a strong understanding of key interior design brands, aesthetics, and positioning
APPLICATION TASK (required):
Create a 10-item “Quiet Luxury Living Room” edit:
- Recreate a quiet luxury interior look of your choice (you may select the reference yourself)
- Include product links or images
- Focus on cohesion, materials, and overall aesthetic
- No explanation needed — we are assessing your eye
Additional details:
Paid internship 3–4 days per week (flexible based on your availability) Initial 3-month contract, with potential to extend. Apply via Linkedin or email.
