We're looking for a Frozen Inventory, Goods In & Pricing Controller to join our Operations team in Darton, Barnsley.
Responsibilities
- Inventory Control
- Carry out cycle counts and stock investigations to maintain stock integrity and traceability.
- Investigate stock discrepancies and non-picked stock using root cause analysis.
- Manage quarantined stock and complete stock adjustments in line with procedures.
- Support product withdrawals, returns, and stock redistribution across the network.
- Use warehouse equipment, including scissor lifts, to complete stock integrity tasks.
- Set up and maintain accurate item and pricing information across systems.
- Input and monitor cost prices, RRPs, and promotional pricing.
- Challenge pricing discrepancies to help protect margins and maintain commercial standards.
- Create and manage non-scanning and weighted/deli product formats.
- Book in deliveries arriving at the Darton warehouse and external coldstore sites.
- Check deliveries for damaged or missing stock.
- Split deliveries and prepare pallets for storage within warehouse racking.
- Maintain accurate stock records within the warehouse management system.
- Support operational tasks including labelling, allocations, and picking when required.
Qualifications and Experience
- Highly organised, detail-focused, and confident in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Confident using computer systems and completing admin tasks.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to prioritise and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable working with numbers and counting stock accurately.
- Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience preferred.
- Warehouse Management System experience advantageous.
- Self-motivated with a flexible approach to workload.
