The Sr. Creative Strategist for UK/EU is a performance-minded, market-savvy leader who bridges global creative output with the nuances of European consumer behaviour. This person excels at identifying what is working in the US market and translating it for UK and German/French audiences, while also building the infrastructure to test, learn and scale independently. Energised by solving complex business problems, making high-judgment decisions in ambiguous environments, and turning insights into scalable, revenue-driving creative strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Creative Adaptation & Briefing
    • Audit US creative performance regularly to identify high-potential concepts for UK & DE/FR adaptation.
    • Brief the US creative team on market-specific adaptation needs; adjusting copy, tone, cultural references, pricing, and product focus for UK & DE/FR audiences.
    • Commission net-new creative concepts where US assets are insufficient or market-specific angles are required.
    • Write clear, detailed high-converting ad briefs for video, static, UGC, and other ad formats with UK & DE/FR market context embedded.
    • Ensure all adapted and net-new creative aligns with brand identity while resonating locally.
    • Provide strategic feedback to designers and execute on feedback from leadership.
  • Experimentation & Performance
    • Build and own a structured experimentation framework for UK & DE/FR paid social; covering hypothesis formation, test design, documentation, and results reporting.
    • Prioritise and manage a live test pipeline across Meta (and other channels) to continuously improve creative performance.
    • Analyse performance data in Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads Manager, and Looker; translate findings into clear strategic recommendations.
    • Conduct consumer, competitor, and trend research specific to UK & DE/FR markets to inform creative direction.
    • Identify winning patterns and codify them into repeatable brief templates and creative playbooks.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration
    • Serve as the EU/UK creative point of contact for the US production and strategy teams.
    • Partner with the Director of Paid Social EU/UK on channel strategy, creative priorities, and growth planning.
    • Collaborate with Brand, Design, and broader Marketing teams to align creative output across channels including affiliate, CRM, and PR.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 5+ years of relevant creative and marketing experience.
  • Paid Social and/or Direct Response experience required, with strong Meta expertise.
  • Demonstrated experience working across markets; ideally including UK and/or DACH, with an understanding of how to adapt creative for different audiences.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make confident creative decisions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to write compelling briefs and copy across formats.
  • Experience managing creative testing frameworks and reporting on results.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple briefs, markets, and workstreams simultaneously.
  • Comfortable working across Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Gmail).
  • Fluency in English required; German/French language skills a plus.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong collaboration skills across creative and marketing teams.

Preferred

  • Familiarity with TikTok, YouTube, Snapchat, or other paid platforms.
  • Experience briefing and working with UGC creators.
  • Background in DTC, fashion or e-commerce brands.

Pay Range

€64,000 EUR – €74,000 EUR
