About Shop Circle

Shop Circle is an AI-native holding that acquires and evolves mission-critical B2B software businesses globally. Backed by over $250m in funding, we serve 200,000+ businesses across diverse verticals, focusing on high-retention, deeply embedded software. Our model is simple but powerful: acquire high-quality SaaS companies and accelerate their growth through a centralised AI platform, driving both revenue expansion and operational efficiency. We operate as long-term owners, continuously improving products through applied AI.

The Role

This is a hands‑on internship at the centre of how Shop Circle operates. You will sit close to leadership and our central AI team, helping translate strategy into deployed solutions across a growing portfolio of software businesses. Your work will span research, analysis, and execution. One week you might be mapping where AI can remove operational friction inside a newly acquired company; the next, you might be running the numbers behind a strategic decision or shipping a workflow that saves a team hours a week. This suits someone genuinely curious about AI and how businesses run, who would rather build and test something than write a deck about it. You think clearly, move quickly, and are comfortable with ambiguity and ownership from day one.

What You'll Do

  • Research and evaluate AI tools, models, and workflows for use across portfolio companies.
  • Build prototypes and lightweight solutions that solve real operational problems.
  • Analyse performance and operational data to surface opportunities for efficiency or growth.
  • Support strategic projects for leadership, from market research to internal business cases.
  • Document and standardise AI playbooks so wins in one company can be reused across the portfolio.
  • Partner with operators inside portfolio businesses to understand needs and deploy solutions.
  • Track the AI landscape and brief the team on developments worth acting on.
  • Turn rough briefs into clear deliverables with minimal oversight.

What We're Looking For

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to structure a messy problem.
  • Genuine fluency with modern AI tools and a habit of using them in your own work.
  • Clear written and verbal communication.
  • Comfort working independently and shipping under time pressure.
  • A bias to action and a track record of building or running something, in or out of work.
  • Currently studying or recently graduated, with a strong academic or project record.

Nice to Have

  • Exposure to SaaS, B2B software, or technology businesses.
  • Basic coding, scripting, or no-code build experience.
  • Familiarity with data analysis or working with spreadsheets and dashboards.
  • Prior internship, founder, or operational experience.

Why Shop Circle

  • Work across a broad portfolio of software businesses, not a single product.
  • See your work create measurable AI impact in real companies, fast.
  • Learn directly from operators and a central AI team building at the frontier.
  • Real ownership and pace, with exposure to how acquisitions are run and scaled.
  • Backed by over $250m in funding, with the resources to keep acquiring and scaling.
  • Competitive compensation and a clear path to grow with us.

Ready to join us? If you’re excited about building the future of AI-powered software businesses and want to make an impact from day one, we’d love to hear from you.
