Bright Owls Nursery is looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and hardworking individual to complete their Level 3 Childcare Apprenticeship. We are a family-run nursery that provides a nurturing and creative environment for children aged 3 months to 5 years. Our experienced staff are dedicated to helping your child develop their full potential through play-based learning and a wide range of activities.
Your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Be an inspiring practitioner with a sound knowledge of child development.
- Be proficient in leading the delivery of all aspects of teaching and learning.
- Have strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Display a caring and nurturing attitude towards the children in your care.
Role responsibilities include:
- Act as designated key person for an allocated number of children.
- To observe, plan and assess children’s learning and development within the EYFS framework.
- Develop positive partnership with parents.
Requirements:
- A Level 2 Childcare qualification is essential.
- Preferably have GCSE grades A*-C or 4-9 in Maths and English, or equivalent or willing to work towards them.
Hours:
Bright Owls Nursery is open from 8:00am – 6:00pm Monday to Friday. The successful candidate will be required to work 30 hours per week.
