Mini Munchkins Montessori is seeking a motivated, reliable and enthusiastic individual as an apprentice to complete their Level 5 Childcare qualification. At Mini Munchkins Montessori Nursery, we aim to provide children with a warm and happy environment, providing optimum conditions for the natural development of children emotionally, socially and intellectually. It is important to allow the children freedom within their environment, so as to aid their spontaneous and natural development. We encourage the children to be themselves, to respect others and all that is around them.
Your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Support the Nursery Manager in providing strong leadership and guidance to the nursery team.
- Ensure all activities and routines within the nursery are conducted safely, efficiently, and in accordance with the policies and procedures.
- Monitor the delivery of high quality childcare, maintaining a nurturing and stimulating environment for children.
- Support staff in creating engaging and inclusive learning experiences that meet individual needs and interests of children.
Requirements:
- Level 3 Childcare Qualification is essential when applying for this role.
- You must be able to gain a clear DBS.
- Having GCSE's A*-C in English Language and Maths, or equivalent i.e. functional skills are desired but not essential.
- Experience within a similar role is essential.
Hours:
The successful candidate will be required to work 40 hours per week, with shift patterns to be discussed. Mini Munchkins Montessori is open from 08:00-18:00.
