Mini Munchkins Montessori is seeking a motivated, reliable and enthusiastic individual as an apprentice to complete their Level 3 Childcare qualification. At Mini Munchkins Montessori Nursery, we aim to provide children with a warm and happy environment, providing optimum conditions for the natural development of children emotionally, socially and intellectually. It is important to allow the children freedom within their environment, so as to aid their spontaneous and natural development. We encourage the children to be themselves, to respect others and all that is around them.
Your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Support the planning and delivery of activities.
- Assist in the daily care and supervision of children in the nursery.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children.
- Assist with meal times, including feeding and encouraging healthy eating habits.
- Help to maintain a clean, safe, and organized nursery environment.
- Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers, providing updates on children's progress.
- Support children's learning and development through observation and record-keeping.
- Collaborate with other nursery staff members to create a positive and nurturing learning environment for children.
Requirements:
- Level 2 Childcare Qualification is desired.
- You must be able to gain a clear DBS.
- Having GCSE's A*-C in English Language and Maths, or equivalent i.e functional skills are desired but not essential.
Hours:
The successful candidate will be required to work 40 hours per week, with shift patterns to be discussed. Mini Munchkins Montessori is open from 08:00-18:00.
