Our caring practitioners work closely with families to support each child's individual journey, ensuring they feel valued, secure, and ready for their next steps in education.

With a strong focus on wellbeing, safeguarding, and positive relationships, we pride ourselves on being a place where children feel happy, parents feel confident, and staff feel proud to make a difference.

We have 2 rooms – babies and pre-school, toddler and care for children between 3 months and 11 years.

Your duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Work closely with managers to support high-quality practice in line with EYFS
  • Help plan activities and monitor children's learning and development
  • Share good practice and support colleagues in their roles
  • Offer guidance and encouragement to team members when needed
  • Use observations to help plan next steps for children
  • Support inclusive practice so all children feel valued and supported
  • Build positive relationships with parents/carers
  • Follow safeguarding and setting policies with support from managers
  • Contribute to team training and ongoing improvements
  • Help create a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment for children

Requirements:

  • A Level 3 Childcare qualification is essential
  • Have GCSE grades A*-C or 4-9 in Maths and English, or equivalent

Hours:

Spring Gate Nursery School is open from 7:30am – 5:30pm Monday to Friday. The successful candidate will be required to work 30+ hours per week.
