Kids Love Nature is currently recruiting for a punctual, reliable and enthusiastic individual to join their Lymington setting as a Level 3 Apprentice. The setting looks after children from ages 1 to 5 and benefits from a large outdoor area, dining room, art room, separate indoor and outdoor spaces for 1 year olds and a supersized sandpit for the children. This is an exciting opportunity to complete a Level 3 Childcare apprenticeship within a friendly team at a fantastic setting.
Your duties and responsibilities will include:
- To work effectively as part of a team
- To be involved in the planning of activities for the children
- Communicating with parents and ensuring that the children’s records are accurate and up to date
- Interacting with the children and encouraging them to participate in the activities
- Creating a warm, friendly and stimulating atmosphere for the children to flourish
- Supporting with personal care and changing nappies
- Preparing snacks and baking
- Helping to keep the setting clean and tidy
Qualities required:
The ideal candidate will need to be a great team player, confident and outgoing, and must be willing to carry out a variety of tasks. You must also be imaginative, creative and committed to a career within Childcare.
Requirements:
- You must be able to gain a clear DBS
- You ideally will have GCSE Grades A*-C in English Language and Maths, or equivalent i.e. functional skills
Hours:
Working hours will be a minimum of 30 hours per week with shifts between 8am and 5pm. At the end of the course, there is the possibility of full-time employment for the right candidate.
