Shoots Training are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and hardworking individual to complete their Level 3 Childcare Apprenticeship at Rabbit Patch Day Nursery, Horsham.

Requirements;

• A Level 2 Childcare qualification is essential
• You must be able to gain a clear DBS
• Preferably have GCSE grades A*-C or 4-9 in Maths and English, or equivalent or willing to work towards them

Here at Rabbit Patch Day Nursery, we pride ourselves on our dedicated and passionate team, the beautiful outside space we have access to and a lovely building that keeps up with all the fun and learning which we have been providing since 2017.

Chevelle and Lara are our manger and deputy manager and Alex the owner works closely with them and often is in providing lunch cover for the staff team and loves to keep up with the happenings of nursery life.

Rabbit Patch Day Nursery is looking for a caring, enthusiastic and committed Nursery Apprentice to join our friendly team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about working with young children and wants to develop their knowledge, skills and experience within a nurturing nursery environment.

As a Level 3 Nursery Apprentice, you will work alongside experienced practitioners while completing your qualification and gaining valuable hands-on experience.

You will also take on the important role of Key Person, building positive and trusting relationships with children and their families.

Rabbit Patch was originally created to provide care for children aged 2 years and up, but over time we were asked to expand and lower our age range to provide care for younger children and siblings.

The building has had to adapt accordingly, and it amazes me to see how it has kept up.

• There are good transport links to and from the Nursery
• Your duties and responsibilities will include;
• As a Nursery Apprentice and Key Person, your responsibilities will include:
• Supporting children in their learning, development and everyday experiences.
• Providing a warm, caring and stimulating environment where children feel safe and valued.
• Developing positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
• Taking responsibility for a small group of children as their Key Person.
• Planning and supporting activities that encourage children's individual interests and development.
• Observing, recording and sharing children's progress and achievements.
• Supporting children's personal care, including mealtimes, toileting and sleep routines.
• Promoting children's independence, confidence and self-esteem.
• Working as part of a supportive and professional nursery team.
• Following nursery policies, safeguarding procedures and the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) requirements.
• Taking part in training and development as part of your Level 3 apprenticeship.

• Hours;
• Rabbit Patch Day Nursery is open from 8:00am – 6:00pm Monday to Friday
