Storybook Montessori Shoots Training are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and hardworking individual to complete their Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare Apprenticeship at Storybook Montessori, Ascot.
Requirements:
- You must be able to gain a clear DBS
- Have GCSE grades A*-C or 4-9 in Maths and English, or equivalent
Nestled within the beautiful grounds of the Crown Estate, Storybook Montessori, Ascot offers a truly unique setting with stunning views of Ascot Racecourse, where the horses pass right past our gates on race days! At Storybook Montessori, Ascot we care for children aged 4 Months to 5 Years and offer childcare all year round. We are Ofsted rated GOOD!
Your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Assist in creating a warm, safe, and engaging environment for young children.
- Support the planning and implementation of age-appropriate activities to encourage learning and development.
- Supervise children during play, meal, and rest times, always ensuring their well-being.
- Work alongside staff to support children’s social, emotional, and physical needs.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic setting following health and safety guidelines.
- Observe and record children’s progress, reporting to supervisors as required.
- Communicate effectively with children, staff, and parents, fostering positive relationships.
Hours:
Storybook Montessori is open from 8:00am – 6:00pm Monday to Friday. The successful candidate will be required to work 40 hours per week.
