A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and qualified early years Trainer to join our award-winning Shoots Training Team. As a result of growth, we are now recruiting for an Early Years Trainer to join our dynamic team.

About Us

About You

  • A level 3 qualification in Early Years / Education, or equivalent, is essential.
  • Significant occupational competency in the Early Years / Education sector.
  • Experience in training and assessing Early Years to Level 5 standard and functional skills up to Level 2 is desirable.
  • Understanding of E-Learning Portfolios and a passion for delivering good quality training.
  • A teaching qualification (e.g AET, PTLLS) and assessing qualification (e.g A1, CAVA) is essential.
  • Experience in leadership and Management.
  • Superb time-keeping skills and able to work on your own initiative, prioritising your workload at all times.
  • IT competency.
  • Possess your own vehicle and hold a valid Driver's Licence, willing to travel across your region.

As a Trainer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting learners by providing comprehensive information, advice, and guidance (IAG) to help them achieve their educational and career aspirations.

Your Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Delivering a range of award-winning qualifications.
  • Using our e-portfolio system to manage the learner journey.
  • Ensuring accurate assessment of your learner against National Standards.
  • Creating appropriate solutions for your learners to ensure they have the best learning experience possible.
  • Implementing Equal opportunities at all times.
  • Ensure efficient processing of paperwork and marking of assignments.
  • Ensure E-Learning portfolios are regularly marked and updated.
  • Meet with the Senior Manager on a regular basis to discuss individual learner's development.
