What We’re Looking For
- Level 3 (or above) full and relevant Early Years qualification
- Experience in a children’s day nursery setting
- Previous Pre‑School Room Leader, EYFS Room Leader or Team Leader experience
- Strong knowledge of EYFS, school readiness and SEND support
- Confident in EYFS planning, Key Person responsibilities and safeguarding
- Ability to build strong, professional relationships with families and colleagues
- Passion for delivering high‑quality, child‑centred early years education
Your Role
- Lead and inspire the pre‑school team to deliver outstanding EYFS practice
- Support school readiness and introduce foundations for learning
- Act as a Key Person, building positive partnerships with parents and carers
- Plan purposeful, play‑based activities that promote independence and learning
- Ensure your room meets all EYFS, safeguarding and Ofsted expectations
- Coach and mentor practitioners to support their professional development
- Create a stimulating, inclusive environment where every child can thrive
