Early Years Nursery Practitioner – Pre‑School Shooting Stars Nursery – Hinckley, Leicestershire (LE10 1AD)
£14.10 per hour | Full‑time (40 hours)
Opening Hours: Monday–Friday | 7:30am–6:00pm | All year round | Bank holidays off
We’re looking for a passionate Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join our Pre‑School room at Shooting Stars Hinckley. This role is ideal for a practitioner who loves supporting children in their final early years stage, building independence, confidence, communication skills and a love of learning as they prepare for school. Whether you’re an experienced Pre‑School practitioner or a confident Level 3 ready to specialise, you’ll be supported to thrive.
Our Hinckley nursery is a well‑established, welcoming setting with strong leadership, consistent routines and a collaborative team culture. We value reflective practice, child‑led learning and giving practitioners the time and space to do what they do best.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience working in a nursery or early years setting
- Confidence delivering the EYFS, including supporting children with SEND
- Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection
- A positive, proactive team player with a genuine passion for early years
Your Role
- Act as a Key Person, building strong and nurturing relationships
- Plan and deliver engaging, child‑led learning experiences
- Create a safe, inclusive and stimulating environment for all children
