About the Role
As Deputy Manager, you’ll play a key role in:
- Supporting the Nursery Manager in all operational and regulatory aspects
- Leading the team in the Manager’s absence
- Ensuring safeguarding, health & safety, and compliance standards are met
- Coaching and mentoring staff to deliver outstanding EYFS provision
- Maintaining accurate records and supporting inspections and audits
- Building strong relationships with families and external agencies
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking someone who is:
- Level 3 qualified (or above) in Early Years
- Experienced in a senior or leadership role within a day nursery
- Confident in delivering the EYFS and supporting children with SEND
- Knowledgeable in safeguarding and child protection procedures
- A strong communicator and team motivator
