We’re looking for a passionate Early Years Nursery Practitioner to join our friendly team at Shooting Stars Nursery in Hinckley. With the summer term underway, this is a great time to come on board and make a real difference to our children’s development and our team. Our Hinckley nursery is a well‑established, welcoming setting with strong leadership, consistent routines and a supportive team culture. We value reflective practice, child‑led learning and giving practitioners the time and trust to do their job well.
What We’re Looking For:
- Level 3 Early Years qualification (full & relevant), level 2 may be considered
- Experience working in a nursery or early years setting
- Understanding of the EYFS framework, including inclusive practice and SEND support
- Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures
- A positive, reliable team player with a genuine passion for early years education
Your Role:
- Act as a Key Person, forming warm, secure relationships with children and families
- Plan and deliver engaging, age‑appropriate, child‑led learning experiences
- Create a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment for all children
- Build strong partnerships with parents and carers
- Contribute to high‑quality practice, observations and Ofsted readiness
