Location: Shooting Stars Nursery, 25 Mount Road, Hinckley, LE10 1AD
Salary: £32,032 per annum plus benefits
Contract: Full-Time | 40 hours/week | Monday to Friday | Shifts between 7:30am–6:00pm
Due to retirement, we have a rare and exciting opportunity for an experienced Early Years Deputy Manager to join our well-established Hinckley nursery. What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting the Nursery Manager in the day-to-day operations of the nursery
- Acting as Designated Officer in Charge when the Manager is absent
- Leading and mentoring staff across base rooms to deliver outstanding care and education
- Driving reflective practice and continuous improvement
- Ensuring safeguarding, health & safety, and EYFS standards are consistently met
- Building strong, positive relationships with families and external agencies
- Assisting with recruitment, inductions, and ongoing staff development
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a confident, caring, and proactive leader who is passionate about early years education and ready to take on a new challenge. You’ll bring:
- A full and relevant Level 3 qualification (or higher)
- At least 2 years’ post-qualifying experience in early years
- Proven leadership or supervisory experience
- Strong communication, organisational, and safeguarding skills
- A positive, flexible, and professional attitude
