This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role within the room, working closely with the Room Leader to deliver outstanding childcare and early education while helping to maintain high standards throughout the nursery.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Senior Nursery Practitioner, you will
- Support the Room Leader in delivering exceptional care and education.
- Act as a Key Person, building strong relationships with children and families.
- Plan and implement engaging learning experiences in line with the EYFS.
- Observe, assess and support children's learning and development.
- Help maintain a safe, nurturing and stimulating learning environment.
- Support, guide and mentor colleagues, apprentices and students.
- Promote inclusive practice and support children with additional needs.
- Build positive partnerships with parents, carers and professionals.
- Champion safeguarding, health and safety, and high-quality practice.
What We're Looking For
- Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification.
- Experience working within an Early Years setting.
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS and child development.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A positive, professional and enthusiastic approach.
- A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.
- Experience supporting or mentoring colleagues.
- Experience working with SEND.
- Experience of Ofsted inspections.
- Paediatric First Aid, Food Hygiene or Safeguarding qualifications.
