Shooting Stars Nurseries in Bromsgrove is seeking a confident and passionate Pre‑Toddler Room Leader to lead a well-established room and deliver outstanding care and learning during one of the most important stages of development. This is an exciting opportunity to shape practice, lead a team, and make a real impact in a supportive, well‑resourced nursery with strong leadership and a clear focus on quality.

Your Role as Room Leader

  • Lead the day‑to‑day running of the Pre‑Toddler room, ensuring high standards at all times
  • Inspire, support and develop a team of practitioners, apprentices and students
  • Act as a Key Person, building strong partnerships with parents and carers
  • Plan and oversee engaging EYFS‑led activities tailored to under 2s development
  • Support children’s emotional wellbeing, communication and early development milestones
  • Maintain excellent standards in safeguarding, health & safety and compliance
  • Drive continuous improvement, reflective practice and Ofsted readiness

What We’re Looking For

  • A Level 3 (or above) Early Years qualification (full and relevant)
  • Strong experience within a nursery or early years setting
  • Previous experience as a Room Leader or Senior Practitioner
  • Excellent knowledge of the EYFS, safeguarding and child development
  • Experience supporting inclusive practice and SEND
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop a team
  • A calm, organised and professional approach with a genuine passion for early years
