Who We’re Looking For
- We’re seeking a confident and energetic early years professional who leads with kindness, clarity and creativity.
- Level 3 (or above) full and relevant Early Years qualification
- Experience working in a children’s day nursery
- Previous Room Leader or Team Leader experience
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS, safeguarding and SEND
- Ability to build warm, trusting relationships with young children and their families
- A genuine passion for child‑led, play‑based learning in the early years
About the role
You will play a key role in shaping the care, routines and learning experiences for the babies and toddlers in your room. In this role, you will:
- Lead and inspire a team to deliver exceptional care and early learning
- Act as a Key Person, building strong and reassuring parent partnerships
- Plan stimulating, sensory‑rich activities tailored to individual needs
- Ensure the room consistently meets EYFS, health & safety and safeguarding standards
- Create a nurturing, calm and inclusive environment
- Support, coach and motivate Early Years Practitioners
- Champion high‑quality practice and reflective teamwork
