As a paralegal in the Trade Mark team you will need to have a high level of accuracy and be able to work to numerous strict daily deadlines. You will also need to be able to help in the day to day running of the Trade Mark department.
Responsibilities
- File and prosecute Trade Mark and Design applications worldwide, register securities and assignments worldwide.
- Monitor, file and action e‑mails in the Trade Marks inbox and field incoming queries from around the world where necessary.
- Assist with general support duties for the wider paralegal team, solicitors and trade mark attorneys.
- Prepare cost estimates for Trade Mark and Design applications worldwide.
- Assist with monthly billing and billing queries.
Team
The Trade Mark Team, consisting of 14 solicitors, Trade Mark attorneys, paralegals and support staff, based in London, Birmingham and Manchester is part of the wider Intellectual Property team and acts both nationally and globally for some of the world’s best‑known brands.

- CITMA qualification.
- General knowledge of the Trade Mark and Design registration process.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.

- IT literacy and compliance with the Firm’s policy.
