Responsibilities
We are looking for a newly qualified solicitor to join our team in Belfast. If you’ve decided you’re a commercial litigator during your training contract, or if you’ve qualified into this practice area, we can offer a strong platform for your career and a broad caseload of matters, with a particular focus on financial services litigation and restructuring and insolvency. The team acts for some of the largest UK lenders and insolvency practitioners and is regularly instructed on complex disputes in this space.
The Dispute Resolution team in Shoosmiths’ Belfast office is part of a nationally recognised practice known for its strategic and commercially focused approach to litigation. The team advises on a broad spectrum of disputes, with a particular focus on financial services litigation, insolvency, debt enforcement, professional negligence and real estate litigation. With a strong client base across sectors such as technology, automotive, and real estate, the team is praised for its agility, sound judgment, and commitment to delivering practical, commercial solutions.
