Role Overview The Commercial and Tech Associate at Shoosmiths joins the topâranking Commercial Group. The role is an Associate level position requiring 3+ years\â PQE and offers the chance to advise on highâquality, blueâchip and exciting client matters in a supportive, positive environment.Responsibilities Undertake a wide variety of interesting and stimulating commercial and tech work, much of which is cutting edge involving advising clients on businessâcritical strategic and/or novel projects.Develop client relationships from day 1, acting as a frontâandâcentre point for commercial objectives and technology initiatives.Participate in a secondment inâhouse for one of our valued clients, gaining firstâclass experience and exposure to a broad portfolio of work.Work across sectors including automotive, mobility, logistics, retail / FMCG, tech, and life sciences, supporting global brands and FTSE 100/250 corporates.Qualifications Associate level with 3+ years\â postâqualification experience in commercial and technology law.Commercially minded with strong negotiation skills and the ability to apply the law in realâlife business situations.Proactive and collaborative mindset, eager to contribute ideas and support personal career progression.Benefits We offer a comprehensive and flexible benefits package, competitive remuneration, a strong workâlife balance, and commitment to environmental responsibility and social mobility.
