Responsibilities

  • File and prosecute Trade Mark and Design applications worldwide, register securities and assignments worldwide.
  • Monitor, file and action e‑mails in the Trade Marks inbox and field all incoming queries from around the world.
  • Assist with general support duties for the wider paralegal team, solicitors and trade mark attorneys.
  • Prepare cost estimates for Trade Mark and Design applications worldwide.
  • Assist with monthly billing and billing queries.

Qualifications

  • CitMA Paralegal qualification – desirable but not required.
  • General knowledge of the Trade Mark and Design registration process.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritise, be organised and efficient.
  • IT literate and ability to follow the Firm’s policy.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Excellent written, numeracy and oral communication skills.
  • Flexibility to adapt to change, new practices and cope under pressure while recognising when assistance is needed.
  • Ability to integrate within a team and work independently.
  • Friendly and helpful approach.
