This role sits at the heart of strengthening financial insight, working as a trusted finance partner within FP&A.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Insight: Provide clear financial insight and concise management information. Prepare concise management information. Deliver financial modelling. Identify financial risks.
- Planning: Lead budgeting and forecasting for assigned Business Services functions. Develop robust assumptions. Produce variance analysis with clear narrative. Drive cost discipline.
- Business Partnering & Strategic Stakeholder Support: Act as the lead finance contact for Business Services Directors. Build strong relationships across Business Services. Contribute actively to leadership discussions. Partner on cross-functional initiatives and firm-wide strategic programmes.
- Performance Management: Develop and monitor KPIs and financial metrics that strengthen visibility of Business Services performance and value. Provide insight into performance drivers and track progress against financial goals. Support prioritisation of investment.
- Projects: Support the Head of FP&A and senior leadership on strategic projects. Drive continuous improvement in financial processes. Develop and coach the FP&A Analyst.
Skills
- Essential: Qualified accountant (ACA). Strong experience in Finance Business Partnering. Advanced financial analysis. Excellent communication. Strong commercial judgement. Ability to manage multiple priorities. Experience supporting central finance functions.
- Desirable: Experience with financial planning. Experience in legal. Understanding of professional services.
