We have a fantastic opportunity for an Associate / Senior Associate to join our fast‑growing Scotland team. Our established banking team operates as one; take part in shaping the local team and brand while benefiting from structure and support to progress your career.
The work is varied across all mainstream forms of finance. The successful candidate will work on the full transaction lifecycle, drafting and negotiating facility agreements and security documents (both LMA and non‑LMA form), negotiating intercreditor arrangements, overseeing conditions precedent processes and any other matters relating to live lending transactions, and supervising junior team members. The volume of transactions allows you to assume matter responsibility and participate in client‑development initiatives.
Our national banking and finance team advises clients on a wide variety of financing transactions, often with a multi‑jurisdictional element. Acting for borrowers, lenders, and investors, we help clients navigate corporate lending, leveraged finance, asset finance, real estate finance, project finance, and invoice discounting.
Skills and Qualifications
- 4 to 6 years PQE with strong general banking experience at your current firm.
- Experience liaising with borrowers, lenders, and/or investors throughout the full transaction lifecycle.
- Ability to support and assist others on leveraged finance, real‑estate finance, corporate lending, and ABL.
