The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.
The successful candidate will primarily assist the Solent team with:
- Assisting a busy department with post-completion matters, including completion of SDLT returns and submission within deadline, serving notices of assignment and making Land Registry applications.
- Drafting and negotiating licences, leases, easements and other transactional property documents.
- Communicating with clients and external solicitors (both in writing and by telephone).
- Assisting on large portfolio transactions, preparing title/sale packs and setting up and uploading information in data rooms.
- Undertaking due diligence exercises and completing/assisting with reports on title.
- Assisting on matters connected with other legal departments including for example corporate transactions.
- General administration tasks in support of the real estate team.
This role involves working with all members of the team and is key in supporting our delivery of excellent client service.
The Team
Our Real Estate group is one of the largest real estate teams in the UK, advising an impressive range of clients including commercial and residential developers, investors, major corporate occupiers, and banks/funders. Offering exceptional market knowledge, the team holds an outstanding reputation with clients and the market generally. Our team provides clients with rapid, concise and efficient legal and commercial advice. We advise on all general commercial real estate matters.
Previous experience in a commercial real estate team; Ability to work in a high-pressure environment with short deadlines; Enthusiastic with a positive, can do attitude; Good working knowledge of various applications – word, excel, outlook; A methodical approach with keen attention paid to every detail; Good organisational skills to ensure that the tasks are effectively scheduled within working time available, and that urgent work is completed and returned within the specified timescales; Able to integrate within a team as well as working on one’s own initiative; Friendly and helpful approach to dealing with queries; Sense of humour; Ability to deliver a top-quality service to both internal and external clients at all times, including under time pressure.
