As a CRM Systems Assistant, you will support the day-to-day administration and effective use of the firm's CRM and marketing automation platforms. Working as part of the Marketing Operations team within the BD & Marketing department, you will support the Senior CRM Systems Executive in maintaining high-quality relationship data, delivering reporting and insight, supporting client communications and helping colleagues make effective use of the firm's systems and processes. You will work closely with colleagues across the firm, particularly within Business Development, Events and Digital, helping ensure relationship information and communication activity are accurate, accessible and valuable to the business.
Core responsibilities
- CRM platform administration & support
- Support the day-to-day administration of the firm's CRM platform.
- Act as a first point of contact for CRM queries and support requests.
- Support user onboarding, access management and user maintenance activities.
- Assist with testing platform updates, enhancements and new functionality.
- Support CRM housekeeping activities to maintain platform integrity and data quality.
- Work closely with the Senior CRM Systems Executive to support ongoing improvements to CRM processes and functionality.
- Data quality & relationship information
- Support the maintenance and continual improvement of CRM data quality.
- Review, validate and update client, contact and relationship information.
- Identify data quality issues and support stakeholders in resolving them.
- Assist with relationship research, contact management and client intelligence activities.
- Support initiatives that improve data quality, consistency and completeness.
- Promote best practice in the capture and management of relationship information.
- Reporting & insight
- Support the production of regular and ad-hoc reports, dashboards and data visualisations.
- Support the development and maintenance of Power BI reporting.
- Assist with the analysis of CRM, relationship and engagement data.
- Present information in a clear and accessible format for stakeholders.
- Support colleagues in accessing CRM reporting and self-service tools.
- Contribute to the delivery of insight that supports business development and client engagement activity.
- Marketing automation & communications support
- Support the day-to-day administration of the firm's marketing automation platform.
- Assist with building, testing and deploying email campaigns, newsletters and event communications.
- Support audience selection and segmentation activities.
- Carry out quality assurance testing prior to campaign deployment.
- Support the maintenance of subscription preferences, communication records and audience information.
- Assist with campaign reporting and engagement analysis.
- Act as a first point of contact for routine marketing automation support requests.
- Support the maintenance of templates, documentation and operational processes.
- Business development & client engagement support
- Support Business Development, Events and wider stakeholders in maintaining meaningful relationship information.
- Assist with relationship mapping and contact management activities.
- Support audience and data requirements for campaigns, events and client engagement initiatives.
- Promote best practice in the recording of business development activity.
- Support adoption of CRM processes, reporting and communication tools across the firm.

Skills & qualifications
We are looking for an individual with strong organisational, CRM and data administration skills, alongside a genuine interest in client relationship management, business development and marketing technology.
Essential experience
- Experience working with a CRM platform or similar business system.
- Experience maintaining data quality and following data management processes.
- Experience producing reports and working with data in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience supporting users, customers or internal stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Comfortable working within a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
- Ability to learn and apply new technologies, systems and processes.
