Overview
shoezone has an opportunity for a Sales Assistant to join our team based in Warwicks. You will join us on a part time, temporary basis to cover maternity leave. You will receive a competitive salary dependent on age. After being with the Company for 3 years you will be on the national minimum wage for 21+ year olds regardless of your age. You will also receive career development opportunities and great benefits.
This position is required to work 12 hours per week with flexibility across the week as the core rota is subject to change based on the needs of the business.
We are a town centre, retail park and digital footwear retailer, offering low price and high-quality footwear for the whole family, with free next day delivery on all orders, seven days a week. We operate from 270 stores and have approximately 2,200 employees across the UK. Our store portfolio consists of 72 town centre stores, 155 hybrid town centre stores and 45 larger retail park stores which stock additional brands such as Skechers, Hush Puppies and Kickers. shoezone.com stocks online exclusive footwear and, with our store network and marketplaces, provides a full multi-channel offering for great customer service. During an average year we sell 14.5 million pairs of shoes per annum at an average retail price of £13.
The Sales Assistant Role
We train and develop our Sales Assistants to give the knowledge, confidence and skills needed to be the best they can be. You will need a genuine enthusiasm and passion for helping people, along with motivation to learn and develop.
