Overview
Shoezone has an opportunity for a Sales Assistant to join our team based in Maldon. You will join us on a Part Time, Permanent basis. You will receive a competitive salary dependent on age, and career development opportunities with great benefits.
This position is required to work 16 hours per week, typically Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday; flexibility for the rest of the week is also required and the core rota is subject to change based on the needs of the business.
Salary information is pro-rated between £8,360.00 to £10,207.56 per annum (Full Time Equivalent £19,593.75 to £23,923.96) depending on age. After being with the Company for 3 years you will be on the national minimum wage for 21+ year olds regardless of age. You will also receive career development opportunities and great benefits.
We are a town centre, retail park and digital footwear retailer offering low prices and high-quality footwear for the whole family, with free next day delivery on all orders, seven days a week. We operate from 270 stores and have approximately 2,200 employees across the UK.
Our store portfolio includes 72 town centre stores, 155 hybrid town centre stores and 45 larger retail park stores which stock additional brands such as Skechers, Hush Puppies and Kickers. Shoezone.com stocks online exclusive footwear and combines with our store network for a full multi-channel offering.
During an average year we sell 14.5 million pairs of shoes at an average retail price of £13.
The Sales Assistant Role
We train and develop all Sales Assistants to give the knowledge, confidence and skills needed to be the best they can be. You will need a genuine enthusiasm and passion for helping people, along with a motivation to learn and develop.
