Shoezone has an opportunity for a Sales Assistant to join our team based in Leigh. This is a part-time, permanent position.

The role requires working on Mondays and Tuesdays for 7 hours per week. Flexibility for additional days is also needed, with the core rota subject to change based on business needs.

In return, you will receive a competitive salary, pro-rated between £3,657.50 and £4,465.81 annually (Full Time Equivalent: £19,593.75 to £23,923.96) depending on your age. After 3 years with the company, you will be on the national minimum wage for 21+ year olds regardless of age. You will also benefit from career development opportunities and other benefits.

Shoezone is a retail footwear company with stores in town centers and retail parks, offering affordable, high-quality footwear for the entire family, with free next-day delivery. We operate from 280 stores and employ approximately 2,200 staff across the UK.

Our stores include 91 town center outlets, 144 hybrid town center stores, and 43 larger retail park locations, some stocking brands like Skechers, Hush Puppies, and Kickers. Our online platform, shoezone.com, complements our physical stores to provide a seamless multi-channel shopping experience.

The Sales Assistant Role

We train all our Sales Assistants thoroughly to ensure they gain the knowledge, confidence, and skills needed to excel. A genuine enthusiasm for helping people, along with a motivation to learn and develop, is essential.
